Wendy: Co-Owner / Stylist
As co-owner of MW Hair Studio, Wendy combined her two passions in creating MW Hair Studio, her cosmetology background and her MBA in Finance. Wanting to create a safe and welcoming environment for both clients and employees alike, she opened MW Hair Studio. As a stylist, Wendy believes that every client is unique, with their own set of characteristics and preferences. She takes the time to listen carefully to client’s needs and desires, and works collaboratively with clients to create a personalized plan that suits their lifestyle and aesthetic. Her goal is to make every client feel confident, empowered, and absolutely beautiful, both in and out of the chair. From precision cuts to customized color treatments, Wendy is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and trends in the industry.
When she's not busy running MW Hair Studio, Wendy can be found exploring the joys of motherhood with her daughter, Iris. As a new mom, Wendy is relishing the opportunity to experience the world through fresh eyes and discover new wonders alongside her little one.
In addition to her love for her family, Wendy is also an avid traveler and culture enthusiast. She believes that beauty can be found in every corner of the world, her travels have taken her to numerous countries, where she's had the opportunity to immerse herself in new cultures, try exotic foods, and marvel at breathtaking landscapes. Wendy's love for travel has not only broadened her perspectives, but has also influenced her approach to life. She believes that balance is key to happiness, and that hard work should be balanced with joy and self-care.
Maria: Co-Owner / Stylist
Meet Maria, co-owner and talented hairstylist at MW Hair Studio. With 15 years of experience in the industry, Maria has developed a deep passion for the ever-evolving world of hair. While she excels in all aspects of her craft, she has a special affinity for creating stunning blonde looks, lived-in color techniques, and precision haircuts. Her ultimate goal is to make every guest who sits in her chair feel comfortable, confident, and heard. Maria takes pride in her extensive knowledge and expertise, as well as her warm and approachable demeanor, which puts even the most nervous clients at ease.
When she's not behind the chair, Maria's heart and soul are with her loved ones - her husband, daughters, and family. She cherishes the time spent with them and values the importance of work-life balance.
But don't let her sweet demeanor fool you - Maria has a mischievous side! She loves to have fun and bring joy to those around her. In fact, she's often been known for surprising her friends and family with playful scares.
Sarah: Salon Coordinator & Marketing Guru
Meet Sarah, the talented salon coordinator and marketing guru at MW Hair Studio. By day, she greets clients with a warm smile and ensures a seamless check-in experience. By night, she transforms into a creative force behind the scenes, crafting captivating marketing campaigns and social media content that showcases the studio's unique personality.
Sarah's impressive educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Human Resources certification. Her business acumen and organizational skills have proven invaluable in her role at MW Hair Studio, where she effectively manages the salon's online presence and keeps clients informed about promotions, events, and news.
Outside of the salon, Sarah loves spending quality time with her loved ones and exploring the great outdoors. She's also an avid crocheter, often whipping up cozy blankets and accessories for friends and family. And when she's not busy creating or relaxing, you can find her binge-watching her favorite reality TV shows.
Emily: Stylist
Emily’s journey in the world of beauty began when she was still in high school, where she had the opportunity to take two years of cosmetology classes. This early start fueled her passion for hair design and she has been hooked ever since.
As a skilled hairstylist, Emily takes pride in her expertise in blonding services, men's cuts, and extensions. To further enhance her skills, Emily invested in a six month master barber program to expand her knowledge in men's hair. With four years of perfecting her extension craft, Emily is certified in Bellami extensions including sew-in wefts, k-tips, i-tips, and tape-in extensions. She loves helping clients achieve their ultimate hair goals and is dedicated to providing exceptional service with precision and attention to detail.
Emily enjoys going to the gym, taking dance classes, spending time with friends and family, and cuddling with her adorable cat, Cheeto! Did you know that before becoming a hairstylist, Emily was a ballet dancer for 15 years? While her dance days have come to an end, her love for performing has translated to the art of creating stunning hairstyles that makes her clients feel confident and beautiful.
Aliesha: Stylist
As a lifelong admirer of the beauty industry, Aliesha has had a passion for working with natural hair textures and helping individuals embrace their unique beauty since childhood. As a curly-haired individual herself, she understands the importance of celebrating and enhancing natural texture. Aliesha has undergone rigorous training under the guidance of esteemed Curly Hair Specialists from New York City and will continue to pursue further education with renowned experts to ensure that she will provide the highest level of expertise as a Curl Expert for New England.
As a coastal resident she is fortunate to have the ocean at her doorstep, where she often takes advantage of stunning sunsets and sunrises. On weekends, you can find her soaking up the sun on the beach, exploring the great outdoors, or spending quality time with loved ones.
Kelsey: Stylist
With seven years of experience, Kelsey has discovered the joy of empowering women by helping them achieve their hair goals and boosting their confidence.
Her extensive training has equipped her to work with clients on a range of services, from bright blonding to lived-in brunettes. Kelsey’s personal favorites are vivid hair colors and hair extensions, as these styles enable individuals to express their unique personality and style through bold, statement-making hair.
As a stylist, Kelsey prioritizes not only delivering exceptional hair services, but also creating a welcoming and safe environment where clients can relax and unwind. She strives to make each visit in her chair a pampering experience that allows clients to take time for themselves.
When Kelsey is not behind the chair, you can find her indulging in her favorite reality TV shows, spending quality time with her daughter, kayaking on the water, or exploring the latest culinary hotspots in town.
Madison: New Talent / Stylist
After completing two years of hands-on education at the Concord Regional Technical Center, Madison accelerated her learning by attending a nine-month cosmetology program graduating at the top of her class.
She found MW and knew that it was the perfect salon for her to grow as a stylist. She currently is part of the stylist training program and could not be more excited to continue learning from some of the best in the industry.
As someone who grew up with thick, unruly hair, she understands the frustration of never being able to achieve a smooth, manageable look. This experience has driven her to perfect the art of the smooth, yet bouncy blowout and Madison is confident in her ability to deliver stunning results. She is excited to work with clients of all backgrounds and styles, and to bring out the best version of you in her chair.
When she is not behind the chair, you can find her soaking up live music at concerts and events. Music has always been a big part of her life and she makes it a priority to attend as many shows as possible. In her free time, Madison enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering at local animal shelters. Nothing beats spending time outdoors either – you can find her going on long hikes, fishing, or simply enjoying a day by the lake.
